Patients have the right to a safe hospital environment. All infringes to this safety must be reported to hospital staff immediately

Patients have the right to know the identity and professional status of those providing care to them. This includes the right to be informed of any professional relationship among individuals who are treating them, as well as the relationship to any other healthcare or educational institutions involved in their care

Patients, at their own request and expense, have the right to ask for a second consultation by a specialist of their choice

Regardless of the source of payment for their care, patients have the right to examine and receive an explanation of their medical bills
